Dornbracht Tradition
We are a company with visions and roots. Dornbracht
has evolved from a family firm established several
decades ago into the market leader for high-quality
bathroom fittings and accessories. Quality, functionality
and good design are the cornerstones of the corporate
philosophy that suitably encapsulates our aspirations.
Aspirations that have brought us notable successes
and serve as a daily challenge to our company.
Dornbracht celebrated its 50th anniversary in
2000 and now enjoys the position of market leader
in many countries worldwide. Our product range
also includes fittings and accessories for kitchens,
as well as Dornbracht Interiors®, a series
of exclusive designer furniture and accessories.
Dornbracht Philosophy
Clear, pure, flowing water. The point of departure
of our company's activities. And the focal point
of our product design work. All fittings and accessories
that bear the name Dornbracht place a clear and
unmistakable emphasis on function. Their materials
and finish are of the highest quality. And their
pioneering design is constantly being refined.
Only those who are prepared to change will stay
ahead. This time-honoured principle is applicable
in equal measure to Dornbracht the company and
to Dornbracht's products.
Dornbracht boasts a corporate culture characterised
by an atmosphere of openness that promotes and
rewards employee motivation, the delegation of
responsibility, quality awareness, dedication,
attentiveness to the product, and a service attitude.
Dornbracht Design
Assuming the basic principle is right, bright
ideas are what make all the difference. Good design
has therefore been central to our philosophy for
many years. Our products are not merely decorative,
they are an expression of a distinctive bathroom
culture. Fittings and accessories of every stylistic
direction, from traditional to progressive, are
manufactured with superb craftsmanship. Numerous
national and international design distinctions
and awards have served to endorse our approach.
Craftsmanship
Our fittings moreover demonstrate attention to
detail and the appeal of all-round craftsmanship.
This craft tradition has engendered an aspiration
that continues to flourish: to achieve superb
standards of form, function and fabrication as
the basis of every product design.
50 Years Dornbracht
Dornbracht, the fittings manufacturer, has celebrated
in the year 2000 its 50th anniversary. This area
focuses on the past, present and future. It describes
the personal, technical and artistic qualities
of a company which has always looked forward.
The invention of Dornbracht's extensible spout
in 1950 laid the foundations for the company's
success. Luxury fittings subsequently took the
international market by storm. The introduction
of high-class design to the bathroom shaped a
whole new market segment.
Today and in the years to come, the goal is to
open new areas and set the bathroom free from
its architectural limitations. The following texts
concentrate on the quality not only of the products,
but also in the minds at Dornbracht, thinking
and developing, communicating and dealing with
art and culture. Work at Dornbracht thrives on
this consciousness. Just as it will in the future.
